요약2 Recently, South Korea has been encouraging the expansion and distribution of renewable energies to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels which is the cause of greenhouse gas emissions. This study suggests a PVT system with optimized efficiency and analyzes the energy production characteristics using the TRNSYS17 program for the application and commercialization of an optimal photovoltaic thermal (PVT) system that simultaneously produces electrical and thermal energies while possessing a higher energy production rate per installed area compared to conventional photovoltaic and solar thermal energy systems. The proposed system was applied to a building to analyze the energy production in each season. This study was performed in the following steps. First, the components of the PVT system and the environmental variables affecting the energy production were examined through an analysis of previous studies. Second, the energy production from each component of L-PVTs was calculated and compared using TRNSYS. Based on the results, the optimal PVT system was proposed by combining the most efficient components. Third, the energy production of the proposed L-PVTs was calculated and compared according to the ambient temperature, solar radiation and the inlet temperature. Fourth and last, the target building was selected and the suggested L-PVT was applied to it. Then the energy production in each season was calculated by performing energy analysis.
