| 요약2 | Currently a rack-type warehouse is defined as "a shelf or something similar that can hold things". However, there are a lot of disagreements when installing fire-fighting facilities or conducting administrative works against fire stations because of the ambiguous definitions of the regulations. In this study, suggestions for performance improvement were provided through the questionnaire survey which are analyzed based on the KS regulations. As a result, it is proposed to revise the definition as "a pallet rack excluding the lightweight class of racks with a total height of 4 m or more as a construct for three-dimensionally storing unit cargoes". In addition, as NFPA regulations in the United States, it is necessary to make continuous efforts to change to a performance-oriented design type that installs fire-fighting facilities according to characteristics of fire and warehouse goods. |
