요약2 In this study it investigates subjective sound response of the floor impact sound in the residential space according to the level change in various frequency bands. To figure out frequency bands which are sensitive on subjective response of the floor impact sound, subject evaluation has been conducted with changed sound level according to different octave frequency bands. The auditory experiment in this study is using ME (Magnitude Estimation) and SD (Semantic Difference) to evaluate subjective response according to floor impact sound. The result of auditory experiment shows the subjective sound response of actually generated impact source is most frequent in two frequencies which are 250Hz and 125Hz. Therefore, to improve performance on floor impact sound insulation it is efficient to develop the method to reduce floor impact sound level at 125, 250Hz.
