요약2 Recently airborne contaminants such as PM10, PM2.5 have increased. Such outdoor air contaminants can infiltrate buildings through cracks or openings and cause respiratory and skin diseases to occupants. Airborne mold, also known to cause respiratory diseases, can be increased both by indoor and outdoor sources. However, researches on indoor mold contamination are still not enough and the guidelines for mold diagnosis and remediation were not introduced yet in Korea. In this study, the investigation on indoor and outdoor airborne molds and related factors such as life pattern, indoor wall surface pH and water content, indoor temperature and relative humidity was conducted in apartment buildings on summer and winter and the relationship between them was observed to eventually introduce the mold diagnosis guideline for apartment buildings in Korea. The result showed that indoor airborne mold concentrations were affected by outdoor concentration and life pattern such as ventilation frequency can also increase indoor airborne mold.
