요약2 Industrial facilities duct transports a variety of gas as well as air. And the deterioration of the industrial duct than that of typical building appears in a variety of characteristics as type and rate of corrosion according to the properties of the gas. Therefore, the period and method of the rehabilitation of industrial duct should be established in consideration of the properties and operating condition and to do this first it must be established the criteria of the duct deterioration evaluation in industrial facilities. However, there has been no particularly well-established standard as well as accumulated research results. This study introduces the deterioration evaluation item and criteria, which can be applied to industrial facilities installed circular duct of rolled steels for general structure(KSD 3503) material, and evaluate the experimental industrial duct by the pipe sectionalizing method, which can be used to measure and manage semi-continuously for overall pipe and duct system, combined with the established the evaluation item and criteria. Applying outcomes from this study to the plant of incineration facility, it is resulted in saving 15% of the repairing and remodeling cost.
