요약2 In recent years, outdoor spaces in apartment complexes have been enlarged with decreasing ground parking lots which are replaced by green spaces with strategic landscape designs. As a tool of landscape designs, green-wall with vegetation has increasingly been installed on external walls due to environmental benefits such as reducing the heat island impact and enhancing an area's visual effect. In terms of acoustic benefits, green-wall with porous substrates could also be useful to reduce noise levels and reverberance by absorbing sound energy reflected from building surfaces, leading to improved outdoor sound environments. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze the acoustic performance of outdoor spaces according to green-wall installation conditions on three different types of space-form using measurements and simulation. The simulated reduction of reverberation time on about 70% green-wall installation is 0.82sec in parallel shape type, 0.81sec in square bracket shape type and 1.0sec in quadrangle shape type. As a result, quadrangle shape type is more effective than other types on green-wall application. Furthermore, the reduction efficiency of reverberation time is decreased by more than 30% green-wall installation area compared to the total area of surface.
