요약2 Eco-Shaft is passive design item to develop habitability of buildings and control indoor environment through sloped or vertically transparent shaft. Eco-Shaft flows a sunlight into the building from the top of eco-shaft and stagnant air in the building exhaust through a Eco-Shaft outside. That is natural control scheme that do not energy use. It can lead to lighting energy saving to control indoor environment using sunlight influx into the building interior. Also, natural ventilation and indoor air quality improvement effects can be expected. In this study, natural ventilation effects and annual heating and cooling demands according to application of the Eco-Shaft in high-rise building were compared using Design Builder program As result. the Eco-shaft could improve the ventilation airflow rate by 160%, compare to the exist building. In addition 39.7% of annual cooling and 0.6% of heating demand could be reduced.
