요약2 This paper analysed heating and cooling loads about double glass and low-e glass which is a different position of low-emissivity coating according to the facings and life patterns in apartment housing. And optimal position of low-emissivity coating was suggested by simulation results. As internal heat generation become higher, outside coating is better than inside coating in the energy saving aspect. Inside coating in south facing housing was the most disadvantage when internal heat generation was high because it could not discharge internal heat generation into outside. In conclusion, Internal heat generation is more important factor to select the optimal position of low-emissivity coating of low-e glass than region, facing, set-point temperature and operating time. Thus, the position of low-emissivity coating should be selected depending on internal heat generation.
