Artificial lighting accounts for a significant portion of the electric energy use in buildings. Therefore, daylighting is considered one of the fundamental design features of energy-efficient buildings, and daylighting is important roles of physiological & mental comfort improvement, learning & work improvement, health recovery in human. The purpose of this paper is to investigate daylighting illumination system performance using building vertical shaft(area:10.25㎡) in elevator hall floor, and is to investigate daylighting illumination system using building vertical shaft in B2 floor level in oder to evaluate the possibility of indoor plants growth which is necessary illumination level[lx]. The daylighting illumination system is composed of heliostat which is programmed sun path, the second reflectors, the third reflectors on penthouse, and the forth reflectors in building vertical shaft. As a result, it was found that the daylighting illumination system can produce average 100lx in elevator hall floor which is completely blacked window, and can be good to KS intensity of illumination “E-pattern” basis. In addition to, it was found that the daylighting illumination system can produce average 600 ~ 1,700lx on indoor plants in B2 floor level. |
