요약2 The geothermal heat pump’s COP in energy consumption is superior than conventional system and air-source heat pump. But the housing owner is hesitant to equip vertical heat pump due to excessive initial cost for excavation work. Therefore, this study is suggested the horizontal heat pump to solve excessive initial cost for excavation work. It was investigated appropriate ground pipe type and ground pipe length to operate heat pump performance using GLD(Ground Loop Design) in small detached house. The slinky type can be divided by vertical and horizontal type, the ground-pipe length is not shown difference between vertical and horizontal type. By the results from GLD simulation, the slinky type can be appropriate in small residential house for heating and cooling using geothermal heat pump.
