요약2 BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic System), which is one of the new and renewable energy, does not require additional installation space, because the photovoltaic module can be applied to the roof or wall. The application of BIPV continues to increase due to its advantages not only the original function of the electric energy production but also the reduction of the finishing materials in buildings. However, previous research focused on BIPV applied to the small buildings. The study on application of BIPV to the external environment conditions in skyscraper has not been developed yet. This study reviewed the issues such as design, construction and maintenance that may occur when BIPV was applied to the skyscraper in a traditional way. What is more, it is a basic study on the direction of BIPV application in order to save energy in skyscraper. Thereafter, this development target to implement both energy production and energy saving when BIPV is applied to skyscraper.
