Status of BIM adoption in Korea have increased significantly in most areas such as architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans since 2010. To comply with sustainable BIM and energy promotion policy, This research is conducted to develop Web-based program which is able to predict Building energy efficiency rating with dynamic energy analysis in early design phase that uses IFC, the standard BIM format. For this reason, IFC energy analysis guideline is developed and Shape information extraction module is developed from IFC file and DB file such as weather data, material properties and building operation schedule and module that able to produce IDF file format which is input format for EnergyPlus with input data on the web is developed. Through this simulation result, web-based energy analysis prototype which is able to predict Building energy efficiency rating is developed |
