| 요약2 | Buildings are responsible for 30~40% of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Energy performance of buildings is key to achieve the energy saving objectives, namely the reduction of a 20% of the greenhouse gases emissions. In Korea, building energy efficiency rating has been issued and is considered as an important way to achieve the agenda of the green growth. Experts such as energy assessors in EU are essential in order to improve the energy performance of buildings and the professional accreditation system is a cost-effective way of fighting against climate change and improving energy security, while also creating job opportunities, particularly in the building sector. In this paper, we conducted the online survey to investigate the need for professional accreditation system of building energy efficiency rating. |
