요약2 The building is required energy saving factors such as high insulation and high air tightness. The insulation performance is expressed by thermal transmittance and thermal resistance. But As the regulation standard of insulation in Korea is expressed by thermal transmittance, it is difficult for non-experts to calculate thermal transmittance in building. This study is compared the expression of insulation standard and calculation method between Korea and Japan, Australia and America. From the results of comparision on calculation method for insulation performance, the calculation method of insulation performance using thermal resistance is convenient. The calculation method for thermal transmittance of materials has two steps but calculation method for thermal resistance has only one step.
