This study aims to draw problems of indoor environment in lecture rooms by measuring air quality in lecture rooms. and by conducting surveys. The drawn results are utilized as the basic data to improve indoor environment of the lecture rooms. The study results are as follows: First, number of times for ventilation in the lecture rooms measured were 1.9 times/hour - 2.3 times/hour. For light environment and sound environment, it was shown that they are maintained in proper status. Second, a survey was conducted with 30 students for the environment inside the lecture rooms. for the cases when the windows in the lecture rooms are closed and opened. For the air, the respondents answered that it was getting stuffier as time passed when the windows were closed. For concentration, declining range of the concentration was 0.2 less when the windows were opened. Finally, change of carbon dioxide in lectures increased up to 900 ppm - 2785 ppm when the windows were closed. Continuous ventilation system, not temporary one, shall be examined to maintain a certain standard of air quality in lecture rooms. |
