| 요약2 | The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of the partial luminance of glare source with non-uniform luminance distribution on discomfort glare. The glare source was assumed as 120cm×120cm window model. The window was divided into three parts with different luminance values. Discomfort glare from the window was evaluated at the position in 1.5m distance from the source. Total twelve luminance conditions were provided for the experiment and the observers were asked to evaluate the discomfort glare level and the degree of effect on the level. The results show the higher luminance, the higher the observer's evaluation value. In addition, the ratio of partial luminances has a liner relationship with the ratio of the degree of effect. A formula to get the ratio of the degree of effect was suggested. Application of the suggested formula to the evaluation of discomfort glare from window would allow us to draw out the glare parts from the window with non-uniform luminance distribution. |
