The indoor environment was a main control point in apartment houses. However, increases in the concerns about the sustainable housing, coupled with increasing awareness of the environmental damage caused by the building constructions, stimulated interest in outdoor environmental design of building. With these current, the outdoor environment of apartment complexes have been improving recently, but the effect of environmental-friendly outdoor design was not yet reported enough. The purpose of this study is to analyze the thermal characteristics of artificial ground in apartment complexes through field measurement. From the field measurement results, the features of heat flux of artificial ground are reported in this paper. |
