Currently, the air pollution and the shortage of the fuel have been raised seriously. This paper investigates the development of the low energy consuming electric boiler using integrated components techniques which can solve the problems. In this study, exchange of the direct-heating system which is the usual method of heating style was executed with the indirect-heating system. Also, alternative solutions were suggested to enhance the efficiency with concern of energy. It was found that the winded heating coil gives high thermal efficiency. And the ceramic powder in heat exchanger reacts on the heat and plays the role of a second heating source. Finally, the circulation tubes of the heat exchanger expand the contact surface of the water. As a result, it was revealed that the performance rises the temperature to 18~20 degrees at the low heat capacity of the 4.5kW/h. Comparing the energy effectiveness with other fuel used boiler, it was found that the proposed system can reduce fuel expenses much less: 20% against city gas boiler, 35% against midnight electricity boiler, 67% against kerosene boiler. |
