요약2 Non-rail windows have been commonly used for indoor because of the insufficient performance problem. But it would be very useful, if these can also be applicable for outdoors. This paper suggests the non-rail fenestration system which can be used for outdoors by improving the performance of the existing one. The proposed non-rail window is complemented by a guidance device which designed newly for the window and the window frame instead of removing the rail of window frame. The evaluation of thermal performance and occurrence of condensation between the general window and the non-rail window is carried out by Therm and Window programs. As a result, this study proposes the non-rail fenestration system for outdoor use.
