Technologies generating electricity using photovoltaic(PV) resource have a variety of applications without specialized maintenance, environmental pollution triggered, and corrosion of materials. Among one of the various technologies is the development and popularization of building integrated photovoltaic system (BIPV), especially replacing PV with external finishing materials that is being progressed throughout the world. Building integrated photovoltaic system(BIPV) is composed by PV modules which used as building exterior component material. And it takes high economic effects and added value to the building itself. BIVP system do generates electricity. And it has the functions which are outer wall, roof, window, fasade, shading material etc. When the high cost building exterior material is to be replaced by BIPV module, BIPV has more economical efficiency. The existing solar generating system need the space and the structural elements for install, but BIPV need no space and structural elements.Somewhat, The architectural structure, construction, raw, safety, endurance and etc. must be examined to building integrated element as BIPV. And environmental factor such as thermal performance, natural lighting performance, and shield the noise performance must be evaluated extensively.This study evaluates the shading effect of exterior type BIPV module. The evaluation factor was defined as area, building height, building width, building azimuth. Result shows the relationship between shading and generation when the PV module was used as building exterior elements. |
